Dual of the Fates

The trip was uneventful as they traveled down the coast towards Neverwinter. 

After arriving in port, Pellanistra parted company with Roe'ellina, encouraging her to move on and keep a safe distance as Jarlaxle was still out there and could potencially seek revenge. Roe had retreived Pellanistra's blunderbuss as a parting gift. Guile confronted Antonio about his relationship with Taerl and Antonio, perhaps exasperated and not sure what else to do, kissed Guile. Guile, confused and filled with even more emotions, went to speak with Pellanistra who encouraged her to demonstrate her superiority as a partner by challenging Taerl to a duel. They then went on deck and fought for the right to be Antonio's not-serious but kind of serious semi exclusive girl. Antonio broke the fight up and said they didn't need to do this. This sparked a argument about who the captain was as Pellanistra took the captain's chair, literally and metaphorically, in issues aboard the ship. While discussing this Taerl was turned into a bunny rabbit after taking a experimental "healing" potion. It was decided that the leader would be chosen by duel. Pellanistra was beaten handily. It was after this that Antonio, having won his captaincy over the ship, told Guile she was his girl and Taerl that she was second mate. 

During their stay, while sitting around a pile of mugs at the Green Dragon Inn, they encountered King Corollas who filled them in on the events of happening at Phandelver. They learned that Jasper, with the help of the two faced $#@% Helen, who had been terrorizing the village in search of Nilsa. There was a lot of discussions here and some wondering as to Antonio's marriage plans. (winky face)

Before leaving, they encountered a peculiar woman who, upon seeing her old friend Polly, put the giant in a playful headlock. Once Polly explained that the woman was in fact a old friend, Crystal Brook by name, the Water Genasi joined the group.

Departing from Neverwinter to Waterdeep, the party encountered a pirate ship of drow who had sunk another boat and had cornered a woman. Antonio stayed on the boat while the others, using magic and other means, managed to beat the drow and rescued a half-drow woman named Selena. Now having two ships, Jarlaxle's and the drow pirate ship, sent Taerl off in the drow ship and they continued down to Waterdeep.

Upon arriving they went to find Nilsa at the orphanage. They relayed the danger she was in as Jasper was coming and collect on the reward offered on her head. Nilsa, unwilling to leave the orphanage nor use it was a trap, decided she would go and inquire at the temple of Lathandar. The rest of the party decided that Jasper was likely to come here and would be arriving shortly. After deciding to reach out to the Open Lord of Waterdeep, Antonio set out to make a withdrawal from the bank in Waterdeep, using a ruse that Squidly, the orphan, got a ring and went back to the orphanage. The rest set up a stakeout, but nothing transpired. The next morning Pellanistra, now turned into Switch the male drow, escorted Nilsa to the temple and attempted to trap her in a back room to keep her out of the way. Nilsa, somehow overcame the magic snare and quite angry, refused to be kept out of things. Switch, warned her that her altruism and open conflict with Jasper would be a profound regret. Steamed, Nilsa want to her priestess and Switch returned to the others.
